Development of the site
in the city centre
Together with Zaha Hadíd's Masaryčka project, Bastion forms the first phase of the development of a large area in the centre of Prague. In the following phases, the Florence area will be connected to the centre of Prague, creating a place with a lot of services, shops, offices and leisure activities with a high concentration of people. The intention is to redevelop the surrounding land into a functionally self-sufficient urban district, the aim being to remove the scar on the face of the city represented by the existing brownfield and replace it with a well-defined urban structure designed for living, working and leisure with a direct connection to the historic centre.
Penta Real Estate has acquired the land from ČSAD Praha holding and is planning an extensive development of the entire site. The aim is to create a new multifunctional urban district with an emphasis on increasing the comfort of residents and visitors to Prague.
