The Bastion Florenc building has come alive with interesting events, the first one being the largest Central European design and fashion exhibition - Designblok 2024. The premises, which are now owned by Penta Real Estate, have free space for rent, which we were able to lend to this great event. We are pleased that Designblok supports young talents from the Czech Republic.
"We were happy to support this year's Designblok by lending part of Bastion. The connection is a natural one - we are turning brownfields into new vibrant neighbourhoods and to do that we need top artists and designers in addition to architects, urban planners and builders," says David Musil, Managing Director of Penta Real Estate.
Designers and artists interested in collaboration can also visit Penta Real Estate's small exhibition in the lower ground floor of the Bastion building."Bastion is a building with great potential - modern, friendly, in a narrow city centre, perfectly accessible by all modes of transport. I believe that making the building available as part of DesignBlock will allow the public to get to know the building better and show the variability of its potential use by potential tenants." says Pavel Streblov, Business Director of Penta Real Estate.
What is the developer doing at Designblok?

We run open art competitions that have a professional organiser and an independent jury of curators, art experts, academics, city representatives and the artists themselves. It is also an opportunity for previously undiscovered names, as our projects are usually widely followed, in exposed locations in the city centres.
